Dear Mr/Ms:

My name is Matthew Flowers and I am a first year Computer Science student at the University of Cincinnati. I am searching for a CO-OP position for the spring semester of my sophomore year. I am writing to you today to express my interest in your company. I believe I would benefit your company, as well as be a perfect fit.

I am a hard, dedicated worker. When faced with a task, I preform to the best of my abilities, and I get it done before the deadline. I am a very fast learner and I pick up things quickly. Not only am I good at learning new things, but I enjoy enhancing my knowledge as well. I would come into work every day ready to do my best while making myself better. I am able to work individually or in groups. I am currently a part of the Robotics Club at UC. While in this club, I need to work together with students in different majors to solve problems and discover new ways to approach problems. This helped build my teamwork and leadership skills.

I believe that I would make a great addition to your company. I would start with the knowledge that I have as a successful Computer Science Major, and quickly learn new things that would greatly benefit your company. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I look forward to a response.
